A full day’s course, ideal for owners of small holdings delivering a solid grounding and understanding of the use of outdoor manual tools. Suitable for the novice and for those with some experience.
Course covers use of a wide variety of hand held tools, both traditional and modern.
Including all . . . .
- Gardening tools (hoes, drills, mattocks, and wheeled instruments).
- Woodworking and hedging tools.
- Fencing equipment including making of simple gates and split hazel hurdles.
- Meadow management tools including scythes and hay-making equipment.
Course for reasonably fit adults. Teenagers are welcome.
£80 per person
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, bring your own lunch. Tea & coffee provided.
